I have the opportunity to try a variety of products from Shaw Treatment, and when the package finally arrived a couple of days ago I was so happy and couldn't wait to try it. This is like sampling the most popular products from Shaw treatment all at once! And I didn't waste any time to try them out. I took a bath that afternoon with the Swahili Coast Face & Body Cleanser, wash my hair with the Volumizing Shampoo & Conditioner, and put on the Body Lotion afterward. And the first thing I noticed is: the scent. It was HEAVENLY.

Oh I love the scent of the Swahili Coast line.. I can't describe it to you but it's just spellbinding. A little bit like vanilla. Wait, no, I think it was coconut...added with tropical fruit infusion. Yes, that's it! And I just simply love it.

The body cleanser, shampoo & conditioner didn't lather much which what I expect from natural soaps and shampoo. Who needs lather and suds anyway, since most of them are made of chemicals, yikes! I like mine with little to no suds, the less chemicals got in contact with my skin the better ;)

The shampoo & conditioner really do it's job, my hair is volumized and didn't limp at all. But what I love most is the Body Lotion. It smells really great (!) and the scent lingers on my skin for many hours. I love the consistency of the lotion too, it's not greasy and not too liquid-y. My New Eco-Conscius Toothbrush from RADIUS -CLOSED-

I'm curious like a cat, so when I stumbled upon Radius website I was intrigued by the toothbrush selection that they offer at their website. They are not your ordinary toothbrushes, I tell you. I was sent a pack of assorted toothbrushes from Radius to review. I was very excited to try it because I have gone from usual toothbrush to super-soft toothbrush to those battery-powered one but still no brand has satisfied me. The first time I used my new green Original Radius toothbrush I feel my teeth has never been so clean before! But before i get to that, first I'd like to let you know what I received from Radius:

This is (from left to right) the Original and the Scuba. Noticed why the right one has different head angle? Well, because it was for the left-handed! I'm a right handed but if I were a left-handed I would probably scream over this Scuba left-hand toothbrush because it's just so cool ^o^
The Scuba is available in right or left handed, it's also available in many colors. With it's non-slip rubber handle Scuba has a flexible bend-able Neck! Designed for harder brushers, the SCUBA flexes to reduce overall pressure on gums and teeth.

I was also sent baby and kids toothbrushes that include: Pure Baby that was designed for 6-18 months old baby, Totz for 18+ months old and Kidz for 6+ years.

What I love is each product has a different softness level of the bristles so they really meet the needs of each age level. Pure Baby has premium ultra soft bristles while the Totz has premium extra-soft bristles and the Kidz has very soft bristles. The Pure Baby is BPA Free and Dye Free so it's safe for your baby. It has a tapered handle for total control, with corner-less head and cushioned brushing which will makes it comfortable in your baby's mouth.
The Totz is also BPA Free and it's FDA Approved. It also has tapered handle but with smooth oval head to make it pressure-less brushing.
The Kidz has higher bristle count and larger surface area, it also has big ergonomic handle that makes it easier for kids to hold on to their toothbrush and it makes brushing more comfortable and less painful too. The asymmetric design automatically incline the bristles at 45 degree angle toward the gum-line which is recommended by dentists.

And now to the Original toothbrush that I have been using for the past 2 weeks.

Like most of Radius toothbrushes, this Original one also has a tilted (45 degree to gum line) head which is recommended by dentists. The Original has 6500 nylon bristles with a very high tuft count to help removes plaque more effectively. The Wide oval head distributes pressure, protects and massages sensitive gum tissue. And although it looked like plastic but it's actually made from trees which are processed from sustainable yield forests into 100% renewable resource plastic! Isn't that just fabulous to hear? I love using green products to help save our environment.

See the difference of the head compared to ordinary toothbrush? That's because Radius is not just a toothbrush it's a mouth brush! :)
I admit, at first it was kinda weird and uncomfortable brushing my teeth with Radius for the first time, because the head is so wide and I'm not used to it at all. But when I finished brushing my teeth I feel like my teeth are cleaned thoroughly and my mouth feels so refreshed. On my 2nd time using it I don't feel uncomfortable anymore, because it's actually fun! I found myself brushing my teeth longer than usual which is a good thing because ADA recommends brushing your teeth for 2 minutes while I usually just brush my teeth for around a minute. But now with Radius I hope I qualify ADA recommendation ;)

I love the soft yet very thin bristles and it does increase softness and efficacy of brushing with 65% more bristle tufts than ordinary toothbrush. And the large handle prevents excess pressure due to over-gripping the toothbrush handle like I used to with my old toothbrush.

Overall, I love using Radius and if it's ADA and dentists recommended than I also recommend it to you, you will feel a new experience in toothbrushing and you might never want to change toothbrushes again :)

I'm like a cat. I'm not really fond of water ;p I don't like spending a lot of time in the bathroom. The shipping is quite fast and when it came I just couldn't wait to try it. It came with a fun colorful brochure which is a very interesting brochure to read and looked at.

The bottle itself is really cute and girly, all tweens and teenage girls would go gaga over this bottle :) I love it too, I proudly put it in my bathroom like a showcase ^o^

I love that the bottle use a dispenser which makes it easy for bath time so you don't have to open a cap and squeeze. This would also great for tweens or little girl so they don't end up messing the bathroom floor by accidentally squeezing too much liquid soap, with a pump bottle everyhting is just easier for everybody.

And have I mention that I love the smell too!? It smells sweet and not overwhelming. In my experience it leaves a little bit of residue though so you have to wash really thoroughly to really wash it away but that's not a problem for me. In fact, I have been spending more time in my bath than I used to now. And that's because I love spending time showering with the Bubbling Blooms Body Wash :) I also love that it doesn't make my skin dry after shower and it seems to really does its job in moisturizing my skin.

Yippie, I've been waiting for this package to arrived because I couldn't wait to try the all natural soaps from The Joy Of Soap!

I love natural soaps! It's one of my weakness ^o^

I have been using natural soaps for almost a year now and I don't ever wanna go back to usual soaps. Mostly because I want to reduce chemical exposure to my skin, we all know that the usual over the counter soaps are packed with chemical ingredients that could cause harms to our skin without we even realized it, and that's why I turned to natural soaps. Beside the scent of natural soaps are more pleasant to inhale than those chemically infused soaps, I also love the fact that natural soaps contain minimal to zero chemical ingredients so it's definitely more safe and healthy to our skin.

The Joy Of Soap is a company that offer natural soap that is hand crafted, hand cut and hand wrapped in small batches, using certified organic oils, therapeutic grade essential oils and ingredients that are gentle on our skin. Their smaller size soap is perfect for work or pleasure trip enabling us to nurture our skin while away from home and be conscious of the environment by eliminating the need to dispose of hotel soaps and packaging.

The soap came in it's individual 100% cotton muslin bags so it's easy to bring along when you're traveling. Every soaps from The Joy Of Soap has moisturizing effect. Out of all three my most favorite scent is Peppermint Passion.
Peppermint Passion is a mix of peppermint and spearmint. Peppermint energizes, stimulates and restore the senses while spearmint invigorates, exfoliates and refreshes.
I love this soap. It smells so wonderful and very invigorating. I go to my in law's house every weekend so I left this soap in my bathroom there. I closed the bathroom door just before we went home that week and the next week when I go there again and open the bathroom door the bathroom inside smell so wonderful! It's all because the Peppermint Passion soap!

Feeling Frisky is a clever mixture of tangerine, grapefruit and lime with calendula flower petals that smells like you're just came out of a spa. Grapefruit has a cleansing and toning effect while tangerine helps to increase circulation to the skin, and calendula is known to promote healthy, younger looking skin.
I am currently using this soap now and it has made me wanting more. My skin is soft and clean. Everybody in the family seems to love it too.

Manly Man has a light scent of sweet orange that brings happiness to the mind. It also contain tea tree oil that acts as astringent and a touch of pumice to smooth out rough edges of skin.
Although it has a manly name it's actually unisex. Me and hubby love this soap. He seems to take a longer time in the bathroom now ;p And I love the pumice that could act as scrubs to my skin.

Overall, we're really satisfied with all the soaps. The natural oils and essence in the soaps really make our skin soft and smooth, moisturized and clean. The scents are all wonderful and very pleasant so it could act as aromatherapy too. I like sniffing on the soaps ^o^

Have you been using reusable bags instead of plastic bags? If not, then you SHOULD! Because plastic bags are not bio-degradable, they loaded landfills and plastic bags are light and can blow in the wind. They fly into trees and into wildlife habitat. Animals can consume these plastics and perish. So plastic bags are a deadly killer to wildlife. Over 100,000 marine animals are also killed each year from plastic bags. Sea turtles, water birds, and other creatures mistake them for food or become entangled in them. In some parts of the ocean, there are six pounds of plastic for every pound of plankton.

We surely don't want this!

I have been using reusable bags since a couple of months ago. But as much as I love using reusable bags I always seem to forget to bring them to the store. There are times when me and hubby went to the grocery store only to find that we forgot to bring the reusable bags! Or it could also happen like this: when I went out I usually bring one of the reusable bags i had and throw it to the bag I'm carrying that day because...well I'm kind of an impulsive buyer so i'll never know when I would impulsively stopped by at a store ^o^. Anyway, this will sometimes be a problem because I have a couple of bags which I use daily and when I change bags I usually forget to move the reusable bag from one bag to another.

And then one day I got contacted by Caprice Ericson from Bagnesia which offer me to try the Reusable Bags Reminder Kit. I thought it's brilliant! How many of us seems to have always forgotten to bring our reusable bags? I'm sure it happened to many of you my dear lovely readers... (or like Caprice called it: "reusable bag amnesia") ^o^

I love the name of the company: "Bagnesia". It was created by bestfriends Pam Eatrides and Caprice Ericson who like us sometimes forgot to bring their reusable bags. Check out the website, i like it. The design is cute and simple, and very user-friendly. Their Reusable Bag Reminder Kit comes with simple, effective products to help people remember their reusable bags every time they shop and it even comes with a high quality, stylish, washable bag that rolls up smaller than a cell phone. This I agree. I received the kit for review and I've noticed that the quality is unquestionable.

The Reusable Bags reminder Kit is a simple, effective reminders that work together with a great compact bag so you always remember to grab your reusable bags and take them into the store! Attractively packaged inside a Bagnesia storage pouch are: a Bagnesia reusable bag, a Mini clip, a Door hanger, a Steering wheel wrap.

I love the simple blue text on black background design. The reusable bag is the first thing I fall in love with. It's made from lightweight washable nylon yet very sturdy and could hold up to 40 lbs, water-resistant and (my favorite part) it has an elastic band attached to it so when rolled-up it would fit into small spaces such as my purse. I love that the band is elastic instead of a snap-on button. I love the shape of the bag too, i've tried it by taking it to a store near me and it could hold up many items equivalent to 2 or 3 plastic bags.

The interesting part is the reminder kit; it comes in the shape of a cute laminated door hanger and a flexible black neoprene steering wheel wrap with the words "Grab Your Bags" on each of them. When I first saw them i thought "this is what we need!" so there'll be no more reusable bag amnesia ;p

Hubby was as ecstatic as I am when he saw the kit. He also love the drawstring carrying pouch that the kit came with because we can put all of our reusable bags inside it so we only need to carry that one pouch. He also love the mini clip that came attached to the bag. That makes it even more easier to carry, we can clip it to our bag or even to our belt loops.

Aside from the reminder kit I also received their set of 4 Reusable Produce Bags which is also a big hit on their website. The Reusable Produce bags main function is to eliminate those annoying little throwaway plastic produce bags you get at the store. This is also the answer of our problem because not all companies who sell reusable bags also sell produce bags. But with Bagnesia, you get it all in one place. The reusable produce bags comes in a pretty green shade. You can weigh, wash and store your produce all in one convenient bag. Me and hubby love these produce bags, they're such a very useful addition to the reusable bags.

We think Bagnesia is a brilliant concept, their products comes in great quality and the Reusable Bags Reminder Kit is really useful! I attached the Door hanger reminder on my door knob so every time i go out I will see the reminder. I also put the pouch near my bags so every time I reached for my bag i would see the pouch and remember to bring the reusable bag with me. And if that doesn't enough hubby also put the steering wheel wrap on our vehicle to make sure we don't forget and left our reusable bags in the vehicle. And whenever I just want to drop by a store near our house for a couple of things I just bring the reusable bag and use the clip to attach it to my purse strap and bring nothing else :D
