Hey ho !

It is the last day of the year 2014, and things have been going on very well for me during this year. Actually, a lot of great things happened for me during 2014, and we have been very blessed and GOD has been very generous to us this year. I'm looking forward for 2015 and the next years beyond, and hope for many more great things to come our way!

In the mean time, if you follow me on my Instagram you might probably know that I've been into stationary and writing journals/planners again lately. I have always love writing since I was a little child. It started from writing diary when I'm in elementary school, and then in high school I started writing planners and journals every day. Then at college those habit still going strong. But when I started my office job I just simply don't have time to write planners/journals anymore. Sad but true.. I keep buying new planners but I just don't use it that much when I still have my 9 to 5 job..

So now that I no longer have a formal office job I found the time again to write my journal/planner more frequently. And the old hobby comes firing again, especially these past few months :)

I used small planners like the one above during year 2013 and 2014, but now I've been wanting to go back using a bigger planner so I can decorate more freely :)

So now I got a new planner for 2015, and after looking for the right planner for several weeks I finally found the one that I want. And it is custom-made in my favorite local bookstore: Gramedia !

Actually I just knew that Gramedia offer this kind of service. You can build your own planner / diary / journal and have it made right on the spot. I made this in Gramedia Pondok Indah Mall, one of the place that I frequent a lot.

So basically you just choose the cover that you want 

(you can also choose which size you want for your book) :

And then you choose the kind of pages that you want inside your book (there are weekly pages, monthly, daily, and stripes pages. And you can choose colors too) :

And then you pick the color of the ring binder, 

and the store assistant would bind it all together with this pressing machine:

And here is an example of what the book / planner / journal would look like after it's finished :

Pretty nice, right? 

So I decided to make one, and begin by choosing my cover and size. Then I choose only three kinds of pages (the monthly and weekly pages, and also stripes pages for writing notes), then I choose a silver ring binder to match my black and silver cover, and 10 minutes later I got my brand new planner for 2015 !

If you haven't own a new planner / journal for 2015 you might wanna consider this custom-book ones. I went to get and build my planner just two weeks ago and there was a 15% discount for the overall price. So maybe if you hurry you can still get the discount ;)

Destination Europe - Travel & Culture Fair 2014

Beberapa waktu lalu saya dapat undangan untuk menghadiri bloggers gathering yang bertema:

 "Destination Europe - Why Wait?"

Singkat cerita, gathering ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan event Travel & Culture Fair yang akan dilaksanakan weekend ini di Balai Kartini, Jakarta.

Di bloggers gathering tersebut selain ada Bapak Colin Crooks selaku wakil duta besar Uni Eropa, juga ada Marischka Prudence (travel blogger sukses yang sekarang juga jadi editor majalah travel "Getaway"), dan Bunga Manggiasih (penerima Beasiswa Erasmus Mundus Master Programme in Public Policy) yang berbagi pengalamannya selama tinggal dan jalan-jalan di Eropa. 

Seru sih dengerin pengalaman Prue (panggilan Marischka) dan juga pengalaman Bunga yang udah lalu-lalang di Eropa. Mereka juga nggak pelit kasih info serta tips dan tricks untuk liburan ke luar negeri secara general. Lumayan jadi dapet banyak masukan dan tips traveling ;) Sementara Bapak Colin menerangkan lebih detil tentang negara-negara Uni Eropa pada umumnya, juga tentang pameran travel & culture yang akan datang ini.

Jadi hari sabtu dan minggu ini, tanggal 18-19 October 2014 akan ada pameran travel dan budaya yang diselenggarakan oleh Uni Eropa alias European Union in Indonesia. Nantinya di travel & culture fair ini akan ada lebih dari 70 stand dari beberapa negara yang tergabung dalam Uni Eropa. Yang bingung weekend ini mau kemana, boleh loh ajak keluarga sekalian, karena di pameran ini akan ada "entertainment for the whole family" - jadi boleh banget ajak keluarga dan anak-anak kesini. 

Menurut info yang saya dapat di gathering kemarin, di pameran ini nantinya kita akan diperkenalkan dengan berbagai macam budaya di Eropa sana, lengkap dengan atraksi, live music dan demo langsung. Selain itu juga akan ada festival makanan Eropa (yummy! - jadi inget Marche). Kayanya seru yah.. Apalagi buat saya yang belum pernah menginjakkan kaki ke Eropa ini sepertinya seru dan menarik sekali untuk mempelajari tentang budaya Eropa. Plus kebetulan saya memang senang pergi lihat pameran apapun sih sebenernya hehe

PS: Untuk pemburu tiket murah atau yang senang traveling, kemarin pak Collin udah wanti-wanti katanya bakal ada banyak promo menarik dari airlines yang ikut mensponsori pameran ini, diantaranya: Lufthansa, KLM, Air France, Turkish Airlines.

Tiket masuk untuk pameran ini hanya Rp 10.000 untuk umum,  
TAPI khusus untuk pengguna Bank Mandiri dan Telkomsel bisa masuk GRATIS ^_^

Dengan tiket Rp 10.000 itu (atau tiket gratis kalau pengguna Mandiri/Telkomsel) kita udah dapet satu tiket undian. Yap, setiap hari di penghujung acara akan diundi tiket giveaway untuk ke Eropa ! Who will be the lucky winners yaa.. hehehe Pameran akan berlangsung selama dua hari, jadi akan ada tiket penerbangan gratis yang diundi setiap hari (Total 8 tiket gratisss). Mari kita berdoa super kenceng siapa tau beruntung hehehe

There's A Circus in Town !

Just a quick post here !

Last week I had an invitation to attend a media launching event for "Tarzan, D'Mighty Circus", it's a circus & musical show from the World Circus and TSI Production. I was anxious to go to the media launch event at Parkir Timur Senayan because I LOVE CIRCUS ! So when I learned that there's gonna be a world circus in our town, hell yeah I would wanna go! ^o^

But unfortunately I was sick that day so I could not attend the media launch therefore I don't have any detailed information about the circus. All I know is that the circus is a collaboration between the renowned World Circus and TSI Production (Taman Safari Indonesia), and that it will be held in Parkir Timur Senayan from this month until 8 January 2012. The title of the show is "Tarzan, D'Mighty Circus". You can click below picture to zoom in and see the detailed dates, etc.

I've watched circus a few times when I was still a child, my parents always took me and my brother to see the circus whenever there's one in town. Hubby K apparently never been to a circus before, he only watched it on tv. So when I learned that there will be a renowned world circus playing here I get excited and immediately asked K to go! 

The tickets come in several price range depending on where you sit. If you want to buy cheaper tickets you can buy it from Groupon Disdus, they are currently offering a limited discount for the tickets ->> But the 50% discounts can only be redeemed for Tuesday - Friday shows only, so you can't use it for the Saturday/Sunday shows (semoga saya gak salah tangkap informasi dari yang saya baca di web page mereka ya).
