Stationary Haul #6

Tuesday, October 6, 2015

These are my most recent stationary hauls. I haven't purchased stationary stuffs and planner supplies for a while because I haven't got time to decorate my planner lately. But these past couple of months I started to get my groove back and I went back to decorating my planner again. So to celebrate my "coming back" I decided to treat myself some cute little decorative items for my planner (^_^)

From Books & Beyond :
Books & Beyond has some cute stickers from Funny Sticker Worlds! I love this brand, their stickers has amazing quality and colors!

From an Instagram store (Yessica Shop) :

I got myself some page flags, washi tapes, deco tape set, and a cute carousel sticker! Oh yeah, I also found my first Sanrio washi! :D

( isn't she lovely ? )

I hope with these new purchases I can start decorating my planner again routinely. Oh and do you happen to know where can I get Mambi planner or Me & My Big Ideas Happy Planner here in Indonesia? The international shipping cost is too expensive from the website (*sad) and I really wanted one for my new planner :(

Please do let me know if you have any info! I've tried the P/O system with Made with Love Indonesia but they are currently not accepting P/O for the moment huhuhuuu... :(

Well anyway, happy planner-ing !

Stationary Haul #5

Tuesday, September 15, 2015

A while ago my bestie went to Japan for holiday. She asked me if I wanted to get anything from Japan that she could buy for me and let me paid them back later when she gets back. So aside of asking her help to get me the Dollywink eyeliner (which is my HG eyeliner!) I also asked her to bring some washi goodies!

Washi tapes are relatively cheaper in Japan because they are originated from there. According to wikipedia, washi is a style of paper that was first made in Japan. Washi is commonly made using fibers from the bark of gampi tree, mitsumata shrub, or mulberry tree, but also can be made using bamboo, hemp, rice, and wheat. Washi is generally tougher than ordinary paper made from wood pulp, and is used in many traditional arts. Washi tape could be as strong as duct tape but the special thing about washi tape is you can do lots of things with them as they come in many many patterns and colors. They can also be re-arranged and removable without leaving any marks on the surface. Well, at least the good ones do :)

The most popular brand of Japanese washi tapes is probably MTex. Their washi tapes are beautiful, comes in many gorgeous detailed patterns, made of high quality fibers, and they also comes in many sizes. MTex washi tapes are still hard to get here locally and they are still expensive here, so I asked my friend to bring me some MTex washis so I can get them with cheaper price :)

She also bring with her several other washis and I decided to sell some of them on my Instagram. You can check out which washi tapes that we're offering on my instagram (@yurikristia), or you can also check out my next post tomorrow because I will be posting all the washi tapes on offer :)

Meanwhile, here is some of the goodies that my friend brought me from Japan. Some of them are gifts from her, and some others are paid by me :)

I got myself a couple of MTex washi tapes as well as washi from other Japanese brand: Maste - which is also one of the popular brand for washi. I also received some unbranded washi tapes as well as a purple-ish/pink pencil case which is so cute! She also got me a small notebook and a couple of face masks and beauty samples.

I bought the big size washi which is 30mm as well as the medium ones (25mm) and also some of the regular washi size (15mm). I'm so happy and satisfied with my Japanese purchase! Don't forget to check back here tomorrow to see which washi tapes I'm selling (Indonesian only), or you can also go to my Instagram page and scroll down while you're there to see all the Japanese washi tapes I'm currently offering for sale.

Meanwhile, here are some of my favorite washi tapes from this haul :

Psstt, these two MTex washi tapes above are currently on sale for IDR 50.000 - 59.000 (cheaper than the bookstore!)

See you on my next stationary / planner post!

Stationary Haul #4

Friday, September 4, 2015

Haven't uploaded my stationary things lately so here are a couple of some previous purchases from local bookstore :

When I went to the mall to have dinner with my family I sneak inside this little stationary store called Office1 to look for new stationary stuffs. I only had 5 minutes extra time to go into the store and come out again to meet my family, so I ran into the store, did a quick sweep on things that I could buy, and found this cute craft punch that came with 4 different punches, and also spotted this vintage-themed name stickers that I thought I could use for my planner. So I grab those fast, ran to the cashier, and went out the store in 5 minutes (;p)

Below are the things that I got from Ebay. I used to scoured ebay for cheap stationary pieces but currently I don't do that anymore because now I have found some online stores that sell the exact same stationary pieces with an even cheaper price. I also don't have to wait for a long delivery time with these local online stores as I usually would when I'm buying from ebay. So these are my last haul from ebay from a couple months ago (maybe I would shop stationary from ebay again if I found something from hema) :

Those are accumulative hauls, sourced from different ebay sellers. I bought and won the bid of a rainbow round-sticker set, a floral fabric tape, a die-cut type masking tape, and I also won a set of 10 deco tapes in various patterns.

The theme of this deco tape set is "pink/red" and my favorites include the Parisienne themes, the red bow, and the Hello Kitty one ;)

Next is a purchase I made from one of my most favorite local store to buy stationary from : TM Bookstore. If you live in Jakarta and love stationary you should definitely check out TM bookstore. I'm not sure whether it's also available in other cities but you can definitely check on google for its locations.

I found some cute stickers there; from Sushi sticker set, musical note sticker, smilies sticker, cherry sticker, as well as two ribbons (silver & gold) for gift wrapping, and also a deco tape! I've been wanting to try a deco tape and I'm so glad I found one at TM bookstore. I am currently loving this and will def buy more of this deco tape ;)

Then a couple weeks later I went again to TM bookstore in another location and found these cute little things on the site :

This time I got so many stuffs and did a big haul including stickers, sticky note pads, wooden stamps, as well as pretty looking paper clips!

I'm trying some stamps on my planner as part of decoration so I needed cute stamps to add to my collection. I also love using deco sticker set which is a set of stickers in random patterns and shapes. It looks like this one below:

My favorite hauls from this one are definitely the sticky note sets which comes with beautiful covers and pretty looking sticky notes inside. I bought all three of the available pattern because I just love them all (^_^)

That's it for my fourth haul this year. It's actually hauls from months ago but I just posted it now. I've been neglecting my planner these past several months but I'm planning to get back on it soon. I also have another stationary haul that I plan to upload soon, so please stay subscribed if you love stationary stuffs :)

Planner Spread : JANUARY

Saturday, February 28, 2015

So I have two planners this year. One is a daily-style planner that I'm using for my work-related things, such as blogging schedules, blogging tasks, my freelance job tasks, freelance job's deadline, etc. While the other one is a cute pocket planner which I'm gonna be using for my monthly schedule + appointments as well as my daily tasks such as my exercise routine and my to-do notes.

At first I was still not sure and just mixed everything into each planner (so that's why in the photos below you're gonna see my blogging stuffs on my pocket planner instead of my appointments), but as time goes by I started to grasp the idea and plans on how I want to use my two planners.

I'm using the black one as my Work Planner and the cute little one as my Pocket Planner / Scheduler. PS: I got the cute planner from my favorite store TM Bookstore (for less than IDR 50k), and the black one is custom-made at Gramedia book store.

Now, let's move on to the weekly spread decor.
I love decorating my planners because I find it really comforting and relaxing for me. Decorating my planners and journal is very therapeutic for me so it helps me cope with stress and anxiety problem :)

I know we're already entering March but I want to show you how I decorate my planners, starting from January. I hope this could give you some inspirations on how to beautify your plain planner / journals.

This is just for sharing because my decor is not super pretty or cute (;p) but I always got inspired by watching other people's planner decor that I saw in youtube and other blogs so I thought I'm gonna share mine too and I hope it inspires you somehow :)

Daily / Work Planner :

Week 1
(tema: Gold)

Note: Saya bikin planner ini custom-made di Gramedia, dan saya pilih halaman weekly instead of daily atau monthly page, karena saya memang lebih prefer weekly page.

 Week 2
(tema: Pink Garden)
Using crayons to draw some flowers :)

Week 3
(tema: Purple)

Week 4
(tema: Chocolate Cake)
Another item to decorate or to line your pages other than washi tape is a deco tape. Sama kaya tape/isolasi biasa tapi ada decoration pattern nya, just like what I'm using above.
Keep in mind that a deco tape is just like a regular tape so you have to make sure where you want to  position it, because if you get it wrong then it's a pain-in-the-a** to remove or repositioned them without ruining the paper (>_<).

Week 5
(tema: Pink)
To line the pages I'm using ribbon instead of washi tape. This pink polka-dot ribbon is from Ikea. I was also trying another type of decorating which is "stamping". Here I used cute little stamp from a cheapo stamp set I found at TM Bookstore.

My Scheduler / Monthly Planner :

NOTE: Saya suka planner ini karena halamannya sudah ada desain bergambar-nya, jadi kalau kamu nggak punya waktu untuk hias-hias planner tapi tetep pengen punya planner yang nggak polos dan beda dari yang lain kamu bisa pilih yang seperti ini. Waktu itu saya beli planner ini di TM bookstore (please google the location), alasannya karena size-nya yang bisa masuk tas tapi juga nggak terlalu kecil, jadi halamannya masih agak leluasa untuk di dekor. Plus, planner ini juga punya monthly page view seperti diatas, yang memudahkan saya untuk keep track on my schedules and appointments more easily.

Week 1
(tema: Yellow)

Week 2
(tema: Romantic Lace)
I really love the lace tape that I used for this spread. I got a set of 5 lace tape from ebay and I love them all! :D

Week 3
(tema: Pink)
Another lace tape, this one is pink butterfly. Isnt' it pretty?

Week 4
(tema:  Pale Green)
When decorating a planner it's so easy to over-decorate (>_<)

Week 5
(tema: Clothes-Line alias Jemuran ;p)

I really love love this clothes-line stickers that I found in TM Bookstore. This sticker is probably one of my most favorite stationery items for the month of January!

I will post my February page spread soon so please subscribe to my blog if you want to see it :)
Also, don't forget to add my instagram @yurikristia where I posted my planner and stationery obsession along with my beauty and fashion related posts :)
