Udderly Smooth ... Say Moo! (Review + Giveaway) - CLOSED

Monday, March 21, 2011

I got a little bit hysterical when I received this package on my door step a few weeks ago. It's full of cow prints, by jolly! I love cow prints!

These are from Udderly Smooth, a family-owned and operated company, specialized on lotions and moisturizers for dry skin. I found out that these lotions and moisturizers were originally invented for use on dairy cows under harsh conditions, but seeing the great effects and the amazing benefit it gives to combat dry skin then these are now developed to be used on people as body moisturizers. It works wonder for those really dry and chapped skin.

I got three products and some sample sachets too. I received a 4oz Lightly Scented Udder Cream, 8oz Shea Butter Foot Cream, and a big pumped bottle of 16fl.oz Moisturizing Lotion with Vitamin E, plus  some samples of Udder Cream Body Cream. I received all of them in full sizes,(except for the samples), I can't believe how generous their true sizes are!

First I tried the Original Udderly Smooth Udder Cream (that's the middle tube container above), it is a grease-less, stainless water-based moisturizer with a light fresh fragrance. It's not scented with anything though, the scent is just very very light.
I love to slather this on my hands and arms right after shower or right after i washed my hands (I don't like an "icky feeling" on my hands so I wash my hands very often everyday especially if i just touched anything greasy or dusty or "unclean"). And as much as I hate "unclean" hands, I also hate dry hands. That's why I now have this udder cream ready in my table.

The second product which I love is the Moisturizing Lotion with Vitamin E.
First, I love the super big bottle. It looks cute on my bed table too :)
Secondly, I love the pump dispenser, it makes it really easy to use it anytime. My hubby loves it too, one time he complained of his dry cracked skin (probably because of the harsh weather we're having lately), and then I suggest him to use this lotion. He normally hates any lotion because he always say that it's sticky and greasy but when he slather this on, he excitedly announced that this is not like any other lotion I previously shoved to him to try. This one is not sticky at all. He said this one is like water because the skin absorbs it quickly and leave no residue at all, and he wonders how can this lotion really different? ^o^

The last one I tried is the Shea Butter Foot Cream. This one comes in a container that shaped just like a cheese container. This one is also generous in size and amount. I love this foot cream because it's different than my previous foot cream which is really oily and leaves lots of residue on my skin and it takes a long time to be absorbed into my skin too.
This foot cream has a different consistency than the moisturizing lotion and the udder cream above, this one is more creamy almost like a cold cheese. I love this for my foot because my skin absorbs it quickly and no "oily" feeling, and it does make my foot smooth and moist. You should try this one especially if you have chapped skin around your heels as many women do. I'm sure this will do the trick without the "oily" or "icky" factor :)

All in all, I love all of the products that Udderly Smooth sent me. I haven't tried the Udder Cream  Body Cream sample yet but I'm sure they will be as good as the 3 products I reviewed above. The price is very reasonable too (only $5.75 for that big 16fl.oz pump bottle of moisturizing lotion!). They leave no residue, the skin absorbed them quickly, and it gives you the result you want. 'Nuff said.

I love Udderly Smooth. I went and visited the website and I had no idea how many options they had. I usually just use the body cream that come in a jar, but I would like to try The Country Cream. The packaging is so cute! Thanks for offering this!
