I love this Asian inspired screens, don't you?
This is a double-sided shoji screen from Oriental-Decor.com, they made it special for those looking for a truly magnificent decorative look from any angle. This shoji screen has lattice and design on both sides and are ideal for dividing a room or for a decorative thing.

This one called the Shanghai Ladies Screen and can be yours for $129.95 at Oriental-Decor website. This regal double-sided art shoji screen features a brilliant reproduction of a graphic art design from pre-war Hong Kong. The images are different on the front and back - each one showing a young Chinese woman in colonial era dress. Both pictures above shows the front and back image of the screen.

Or if you like the idea of an Asian screen as a decorative item but don't really have the space or the budget to buy the full sized like above then you might choose this mini-sized version below for only $24.95.

This mini table-top screens is 8x12 inch and it's double-sided too! Each screen contains four attractive panels of Asian scenery covered with glass. They go well on tables, desks, shelves, stands and will compliment almost any room or scene.

You can get those and many other Asian inspired things in Oriental-Decor website. They offer a wide range of goodies of high quality oriental decor from furniture, decorative items, to clothing and art jewelry. They are direct importer from Asia so they can offer you the best Asian handicrafts at excellent prices, but worry not, most of the items are stocked in the USA for immediate delivery.

At Oriental-Decor you can also request a customized art piece as their master Asian artists and craftsman can create a customized painting, umbrella, or fan of your choice. And they SHIP WORLDWIDE too!

I received these two beauties for review:

This Falling Leaves decorative Lamp

and this beautiful umbrella

The Falling Leaves lamp is perfect for adding a soft glow of warm light and a fine decorative touch to any room. Me and hubby fell in love with the design, and the green will suit our yellow-ish bedroom wall. I personally love the eco-friendly look of this lamp, it's made of wood and paper with what looks like real dried leaves planted in the paper. It's a really cool lamp, perfect as a gift for your eco-lover friends. It's $24.95 on the website.

This lamp came un-assembled but the package includes everything we need, such as a bulb, a 110-volt electrical chord, socket and switch. And the assembly process is easy peasy, hubby assembled it in less than 15 minutes. Women can do it themselves since it's not hard to figure it out.
The lamp has a soft yellow/warm glow when switched on. The chord is not too long nor it is too short and the light itself is not too bright nor too dark, it was perfect for our night lamp. We really really love this lamp and hubby gives it two thumbs up! ^__^

And this umbrella...

Ooh what can I say about this umbrella beside it's so pretty and wonderful and enchanting at the same time. I never thought an umbrella could be this charming. Ted of Oriental-Decor sent me this red traditional Thai umbrella called the Oxblood, and I don't know how he knows that red is my favorite color ^o^
My first thought is this is a very beautiful decorative umbrella, but hey, I didn't know that this umbrella is actually waterproof!! Yes, I kid you not, these umbrella were actually made with oil-treated cotton and lacquered with a special substance that give them protection from water. So yeah, in case of emergency you can use it as a normal umbrella but still, many people prefer to use them for decoration or protection from the sun.
As a decorative item, you can put it in your office or living room as an accent or use it as props. It's handcrafted and hand-painted by Asian artisans, this particular umbrella of mine was made in Thailand.

My mom also adores this umbrella, sometimes she helps coordinate parties so she already thinking some ways on how to use the umbrella as part of party decorations. I examined the umbrella and it is quite thick and will not tear off easily. The wooden handle is of good quality and I also love the quality of the vibrant paint used in it.
This one is on SALE for $25.95 but there are also a lot of other umbrella types and options at Oriental-Decor.

Wait, there's more!
You can find lots of decorative as well as other knick-knacks on Oriental Decor. Maybe you need to change your little end table to spruce up your room a bit?

Or maybe try adding a little decorative touch to that boring living room or bedroom, how bout' adding this pretty sky blue silk lantern in the corner? It will surely brings out your room, it can also be a conversation starter once your guests see it. I mean, how pretty is this?

And if you need a unique gifts why don't give your friends a set of this cute and one of a kind chopstick set? Who wouldn't love this pastel hues chopstick? I would surely want these in my kitchen cabinet drawers ;p

Or maybe this charming coaster set? perfect as a gift for that aunt who already has everything ;)

At Oriental-Decor you can also shop by recipients, color or themes, and you can even have your own list of wishes. Other Asian-inspired things that you can buy there are bonsai trees, chinese cheong-sam dresses and tops, statues and paintings. What a wonderful store! But so hard to decide on a favorite. I think I'd choose the Alter Table- reminds me of days gone by, and my Grandma's home shrine!
