THE DAY MICHAEL JACKSON DIED

Saturday, June 27, 2009

In loving memory of MICHAEL JACKSON, The King Of Pop.

Maybe it's true,
in order to be a Legend, you have to die young.

The 50-year-old musical superstar died Thursday, June 25 (USA time) with a possibility of cardiac arrest / heart attack (however autopsy result will take several days to be completed).

Jackson died at UCLA Medical Center after being stricken at his rented home in the posh Los Angeles neighborhood of Holmby Hills.

Michael Jackson had been planning to start a series of comeback concerts in London and had been rehearsing in the Los Angeles area for the past two months. Too bad, now that concert will never happen.

Although I'm not really a die-hard fan of him but his songs and music videos has been a part of my life while growing up. I had a cousin who love Michael very much, you see Michael has been an influence to many people.
Despite many of those weird things that he does, his achievement is worth to be mentioned as legendary.
He is, afterall, The King Of Pop.
No one else would be like him. There would be only one, Michael Jackson.

and here's my funny little hubby (who happens to be MJ's great fan - he actually shocked when i told him the news and then he mourn for MJ until 3 days after his death) in his attempt of doing the "hiie..hiiiy" moment of MJ :

Art Sets @Polyvore

Thursday, June 18, 2009

I knew about polyvore from my bff Epi. After a long pause of not using it I once got back to it just to see what's new, turns out I found lots and lots of amazing sets in there. I have no idea that there are many creative people out there who had amazing creative ability that's hard to compare.
Well it inspires me to explore my own creativity and since I had the time to play with it so here are what comes out at the end ^o^ :

Monday, June 8, 2009

While browsing I found a website of this really great illustrator who does amazing works of arts. I love her style, she could be one of my favorite illustrator ^__^
Her name is Silvia Portella, her age is the same as me (but her works are beyond my achievement ^o^). She's originally from Spain but now lives in Berlin, Germany. She has worked with some German companies and media as well as for companies around the globe.
And she can speak 5 languages! Is she a genius or what? ^^

I fell in love with her works and decided to post about her to make her works more globally known. I hope she's not mad that i took her illustrations and put them here as an example of how great her works are ^o^

Well, here are some of her works..
Enjoy..

And here's her website link:
